Little Scientists: How to make rain

September 5, 2014momstownCraftNo comments
Each month Mississauga Preschoolers are treated to a new science experiment via our Little Scientists Program. Last month they talked about how rain is made! Enjoy this simple experiment with items you have around the house to start a dialogue about how rain is made!

Since we had a rainy summer we decided to talk about rain this month at Little Scientists.

Kids used shaving cream on top of a glass of clear water, then poured blue water into the cup to show how the "clouds" got heavy and the rain poured down. The blue water moves through the shaving cream cloud and you can see it colour the clear water.
