How to Host a Tea Exchange

December 9, 2014momstownFamily LifeNo comments
Tea lovers unite! A tea exchange is the perfect excuse to be social and to try a bunch of different teas without spending a fortune or ending up with a cupboard full of flavours you don’t enjoy! Mississauga moms recently enjoyed a fun tea party with momstown Mississauga.

First step to a tea exchange is to find a host for the event and invite the guests.

Participants need to each bring a different kind of tea. Depending on the host's china cabinet, you may also need to bring along a teapot, and package up a few of your tea bags (or servings of loose leaf) so that everyone in the exchange takes home 2 or 3 servings.

Now you are ready for your tea exchange – simple right? Who said Tea Parties are only for little girls?

So what are some of the benefits of drinking tea?

  • Tea contains antioxidants
  • Tea has less caffeine than coffee
  • Tea may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke
  • Tea bolsters your immune system
  • Tea helps you keep hydrated
  • Tea has no calories

So next time you are looking for a fun get together – why not plan a tea party?

momstown Mississauga's calendar includes many fun and interesting events such as this for program pass holders. If you are looking to be more social and try some new classes a program pass is what you need. Purchase yours now on our website and start having fun today!
