1. Paint the Town Red in Port Credit
The annual Canada Day parade on Lakeshore starts at 11am. Make sure to hold the kids hands and keep those feet off the street! After the parade fun is done be sure to visit Memorial Park for the Kids Stage featuring special family activities. At 9:50pm the crowd will sing OH CANADA and the Fireworks show will start!
Join in the celebration starting at 6pm with family fun such as kids crafts, facepainting games and more right in the Streetsville Memorial Park. Fireworks start at 10pm!
From 12-4pm at the Living Arts Centre kids can beat the heat and try a variety of family fun such as facepainting, crafts as well as viewing live demonstrations of their pottery, glass and wood classes classes.
4. Family fun at Celebration Square
Mississauga families can find fun at Celebration Square this Canada Day from 4:00 – 10:30pm as the Square comes alive with activities for families, food trucks, live music and of course Fireworks will cap off the night at 10pm! There's even an app you can download which will light up your phone to the music!
