momstown Mississauga had our Community Celebration this weekend at the Vic Johnson Arena
Banquet Hall in Streetsville. There was facepainting, crafts, balloons galore, giveaways, painting, and we gave away over $1700 in prizes!
Pockets the Clown was a star of the day with her fanciful facepainting artwork. She handled an amazing amount of children through the crowd with no apparent effort creating masterpieces that spanned entire faces with just a few swipes of her magic paint.
After she was done, the crowds were wowed with her magic show!
Another Fan Favourite area of the Party was the Interactive Camping Display from Walmart Canada. There was a 9pc camping combo sent to our event, which the kids enjoyed testing out. They loved sitting in the camping chairs to do a little colouring, and exploring the tent. One lucky family even got to take it home with them!
Dr Fabian Tai & Associates had games of science and discovery for the kids to try. All to raise awareness of the importance of early vision care. Not sure when to have your child's eyes checked? Read this blog from Dr. April Eryou on when to have Baby's First Eye Exam.
Fisher Price provided toys for our play area – the whole area was stocked with amazing toys for the little ones to play and discover. The Photo wall was a big hit with our real life little people to pose with the #littlepeople in the wall.
There were also door prizes and special offers exclusive to the attendees of the event. If you text WIN to 333-22 you too can be entered to win 1 of 20 different Fisher Price Toys.
Prodigy Martial Arts also took part in our Community Celebration. The students and instructors performed a demonstration, and got the kids in the crowd engaged in some martial arts moves. As part of our fitness and adventure pillar momstown encourages kids to get moving and keep active!
If you missed our Community Celebration you can still join us at one of our regularly scheduled programs – we offer 20+ options each month to keep you and your kid(s) active and engaged in the community.
momstowns across the GTA are also hosting these events so check out http://momstown.ca/mcc to find another option nearby!
