Fruit Salad

July 30, 2014momstownRecipeNo comments
Getting kids to try new foods can be tricky. Combining a bunch of family favourites in a fruit salad can allow you to sneak in some new fruits without the picky eaters even noticing.
Preparation Time: 20

Yield: 6
Description:

Ingredients:

Apple x 2
Apricot
Oranges
Peaches
Watermelon
Blueberries
Raspberries
Bananna

Wash and prepare fruits by peeling skin if/when necessary and cutting everything into similar sized pieces. Start with hard fruits first and fold in softer ones towards the end to avoid any mushiness.

When cutting apples or something that turns brown fast make sure to mix right away with a citrus fruit to stop the oxidation.

Take the chance to add in apricots or kiwis – something your child might not have tried before.
