With only 5 ingredients these are simple and there is no compromise on taste. Decorate with candies and icing to personalize your cookies.
Mix together flour, baking soda, sugar and ground ginger.
Add in butter – using food processor or a pastry cutter (or knives) to cut in the butter.
Process/work it until mix resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add in the beaten egg
Knead until it comes together.
Optional add in up to 1 Tbs of water to bring it all together.
Make into disc(s) and refridgerate 30 mins
