Have your toddler cut up some soft veggies, shred some cheese and sprinkle into muffin tins. They will love the feeling of being a real chef – and getting them to eat a creation they have made themselves is so much easier!
Assemble all the ingredients prior to starting so that you do not leave your child alone for a moment while using kitchen equipment. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray muffin tins well.
Have your child shred the cheese. Assemble a variety of vegetables that your child likes. Let them cut into small pieces using a plastic knife. Have your child sprinkle all the ingredients into muffin cups. They can control what goes into their own frittata.
Next have your child crack the eggs and whisk with a few tablespoons of milk. Parents pour the eggs into the muffin tins and place into the oven.
Baking time will depend on the amount of filling to egg ratio. Check after 10 minutes.
Have your kids watch the eggs rise in the oven.
Serve warm or save extras and pack for a protein filled snack or lunch on the go!
