Our moms and tots recently went on a scavenger hunt to learn about our neighbourhood. Kids CBC provided us with a fun scavenger hunt template from the popular show Daniel Tiger.
Mississauga moms and kids enjoyed a fun scavenger hunt through the park today at Lakefront Promenade Park. We had a great template for our scavenger hunt provided by Kids CBC and the show Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood.
The kids were given a crayon and a copy of the hunt so that they could check off items on their own as they saw them. Whether they were rolling in a stroller, or walking on their own there was plenty of spotting going on! From leaves to stop signs the enthusiastic kids found everything on the list!
We even walked along the boardwalk to see the ducks and look at the harbour.
This is a great park for families to have a picnic and stay awhile.
The splashpad and playground are recently updated and in beautiful condition.
Once the kids could be coaxed away from the playground and splashpad they had a bit of a colour and enjoyed some tattoos and stickers from Kids CBC.
